Cancer is one of those things we usually don't think about it until we or someone we know is personally touched by it. Recently one of our friends was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. He only is only 37 years old and is married to his high school sweet heart Aubrey. Together they have 3 children. Imagine one day sitting at work going about your daily routine and suddenly having half of your body go numb. You decide to go to the doctor to find out what is going on one minute, and the next you are being taken to the operating room for emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor. He has been recovering and remains hopeful that the cancer will not return.

He and his family have been through a lot, but they have a long road ahead of them which is why his friends and family are having a benefit to help raise money for medical and to help support his family during his recovery.  I was happy to support Joe and his family by designing a flyer for the upcoming Benefit for Joe Rice.
